Your ‘day to day’
As a Validation Engineer, you’ll ensure that manufacturing equipment are qualified and processes validated while conducting documentation reviews and lead quality risk assessments and change management activities. You’ll be part of a diverse team looking for someone who can share knowledge and has a curiosity to learn!

More specifically, you’ll
  • Lead and execute qualification and validation activities, prepare documentation and reports on production processes, computerized systems and cleaning in a timely manner
  • Lead all aspects of deviations including investigation and resolution
  • Lead and coordinate the change management process to maintain validated state of the manufacturing processes and computerized systems
  • Provide support and act as facilitator for the Quality Risk Assessment
  • Share expertise and knowledge to business owners and partners to ensure that validation projects are carried out in accordance with internal policies and procedures
  • Participate in the creation and update of procedures, work instructions and other Quality Documents

Who we’re looking for
  • College/University Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in quality assurance in tobacco, food, pharmaceutical or similar industry
  • Experience in validation is an asset
  • Skills in PC, Microsoft applications (especially Excel)
  • Understanding of Production & QA processes
  • Proficiency in French and English
  • Willing to learn, flexible and self-taught
