Your field of responsibility


As part of our team, you perform analysis on suspect alerts related to potential Internal Fraud risk. You request for clarifications to different business partners in case of need (First Line of Defense Support, Policy owner, product owner, etc.). In addition, you identify and handover possible other Compliance issues to the relevant specialist (AML, Conflict of interest, Bribery & Corruption, Outside interest, etc.). In doing so, you facilitate a sustainable lessons-learned process in order to ensure effective Internal Fraud detection. Due to your expertise, you understand the operational risk incidents, identify potential control gaps or weaknesses and make recommendation to implement new processes or scenarios. You monitor reported losses and provisions for fraud incidents in Credit Suisse and review Internal Fraud incidents in other financial institutions based on externally available data sources. If required you raise and report to the management on potential issues.

The team reviews and investigates alerts generated by the Anti-Fraud Surveillance solution to mitigate fraud risk, financial loss, and protect our clients and the Bank from fraud risk. The team comprises highly engaged and driven individuals working in a scaled agile work methodology. Your skills and experience


This role requires excellent analytical and organizational skills with good verbal and written communication. The ideal candidate would possess the following additional qualifications and skills:

  • A University degree or an equivalent education in a Finance, Economics or Accounting related-area.
  • At least 5 years of working experience operating within a financial institution, ideally focusing on compliance, risk management and/or internal audit. Alternatively, you have acquired experience in forensic accounting, fraud investigations or external audit within Wealth Management.
  • Good Knowledge of Banking Front Office tools, Private Banking Front procedures and key controls are an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Proficient in English and/or German, French is an advantage
  • Deeply detailed oriented, skeptical approach with excellent follow-up capabilities and good interpersonal skills
