We have an exciting opportunity at CAT for an Assistant Finance Manager to be based in Geneva - Looking after a team of 4 across multiple locations ,The incumbent in this position will take leadership in managing, through the Finance Reps reporting to them and in collaboration with the Financing solutions ensue effective partnership with the dealers with all aspects of financial operations. We are looking for a highly experience finance professional who is also a great stakeholder manager, self sufficient and have a strategic mindset to the work that they do

Job responsibilities:

  • Analyzes confidential financial reports and evaluates the financial strength in assigned regions. Along with the Finance Manager the incumbent assists dealers in short and long-term financial planning

  • Presents Financial Market trends

  • Work with district personnel to develop and manage merchandising programs to enhance dealer sales to customers Analyzes specific dealer sales transactions and has the authority to extend payment terms as warranted.

  • Administers finance-oriented programs for dealers and conducts audits of dealer inventory and controls as necessary.

  • Will take a lead role in deploying Project CFO Modules

  • Complete control of all aspect of Asset Management

  • Financial Institution Relationship

  • Responsible to manage, train and coach direct reports (Finance Reps) and performing all administration related to this.

  • Will provide full support to the Finance Manager in monitoring Dealers compliance to Finance Procedures, Sarbanes-Oxley and Treasury Letters. I

  • The position is required to travel regularly so the ability and motivation to travel

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

  • A Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting college degree with a strong preference for a Finance degree.

  • Six to eight years practical experience in Treasury, financial management and corporate finance is desired.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills are desirable along with the ability to work with a diverse workforce within company and dealer management.

  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Self reliant and a self starter as at times is a standalone role

  • Excellent Stakeholder Management skills both internally and externally

  • Experience in management and proven coaching ability

  • Highly analytical and a strategic thinker
