Purpose

The Credit Controller reports to the Team Lead Fashion Credit Control. The position is based in Villars-sur-Glâne within our Richemont Europe Teams, starting in February 2023 and is a full-time position (100%).


By joining our team, you will ensure a high level of efficiency covering all credit-related activities and administrative tasks for Richemont wholesale business offering an excellent customer service in perfect alignment with Markets & Maisons .


You will be successful in the role by:

  • Managing an accounts portfolio as part of a Fashion & Accessories (F&A) team in line with credit policies and best company’s interest.
  • Closely following-up on the ageing balance with reminders by calls and emails.
  • Liaising with sales and commercial team for claims resolution and sales deductions processing.
  • Managing an excellent routine with administrative tasks (statements, copies, ad hoc requests).
  • Assessing risk through exposure and credit limits monitoring, risk classes appropriate assignment, order releases, customer blocks and escalations.
  • Calculating Bad Debts Provision with comments and strict documentation.
  • Strictly following audits requirements, key AR controls and company processes.
  • Ensuring cross-functions alignment: cash allocation, master data & contract management, general accounting, controlling, ICS, AP.
  • Supporting AR KPI’s reporting metrics improvement (DSO, Overdue, Bad Debts).
  • Support incomplete billing process and any process blocks resolution.

Your invaluable skills we are looking for:

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent;
  • You are fluent in English and Italian with strong written and oral communication skills; German or any other language would be a plus.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar function;
  • You have a capacity to learn and investigate transverse business flows with a strong analytical, problem-solving skills and organization skills;
  • You are action-oriented, autonomous & service-oriented.
