The future Electrical Product Manager will be responsible to guide product teams in building high quality and cost-efficient solutions. He/She will own the technical feasibility and high-level design, guiding a cross-functional team to create, develop and implement a product. He will be responsible for the overall health of the Electrical and IT Products in scope of his/her umbrella. Last but not least, he/she will ensure that the organization delights customers and delivers economic value to the business.

Tasks

Main Responsibilities
  • Accountable for building high quality and cost-efficient technical solutions supporting the business objectives, in order to deploy long-term product success from a technology and budget point of view
  • Accountable for the overall health of all IT Products in the stream portfolio and for building technical excellence (built-in quality, drive DevSecOps and architecture maturity of the product)
  • Translates the business strategies into aligned joint technology roadmaps that promote the achievement of business objectives
  • Establishes critical NFRs (non-functional requirements) at a product level
  • Facilitates the delivery across teams (e.g. large initiatives, technical enablers/NFRs)
  • Plans and defines the high-level design of technical solutions and explores potential technical solutions with the team
  • Works closely together with other technical leads to establish technical principles and guidelines
  • Define Features, manages program backlog and prioritized for implementation.
  • Enforce the end to end processes for the global Electrical PLM integration

  • Technical expertise: must be able to work with the engineers on his/her team to identify performance bugs and ensure the product is up to par in terms of function, design and user experience
  • Delegation skills: you must be able to identify each team member’s strengths and delegate tasks based on team members’ abilities. Good delegation skills include being able to portray expectations for tasks, resist micromanaging team members and regularly check in with team members to see what worked and what didn’t during the completion of a task.
  • Analytical skills: you know how to use market trends to address issues and develop solutions that will ultimately lead to a successful product.
  • Interpersonal skills: you must possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively influence and lead the people you work with. From customers to stakeholders to team members. You are regularly trying to get others on board with their product vision.
  • Delegation skills: you must be able to identify each team member’s strengths and delegate tasks based on team members’ abilities.   • Strategic thinking: you should be able to think strategically throughout every phase of a product’s development. You should have a solid understanding of the product life cycle, audience segmentation, the project management process and forecasting sales. Additional strategic thinking skills include problem-solving skills, risk management and goal orientation.
  • Delegation skills: you must be able to identify each team member’s strengths and delegate tasks based on team members’ abilities. Good delegation skills include being able to portray expectations for tasks, resist micromanaging team members and regularly check in with team members to see what worked and what didn’t during the completion of a task.
  • Strong understanding of business requirements and capability to translate into the Group strategy
  • Excellent English written and spoken, French is an asset

Education And Experience
  • Master’s degree in Electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent
  • Certification in an Agile project management method like SAFe, an asset
  • Ideally 8 to 10 years of experience in the field in electrical schematic, cabinet, and harness design and experience of an ECAD system implementation
Knowledge required on:
  • E3 Series Zuken environment and usage
  • E3 Series Zuken development
  • AZURE DevOps
Optional knowledge:
  • Dassault Systems 3DEXPERIENCE
  • SAP ECC/S4HANA
Very Good understanding of :
  • Product Data Management

  • Configuration Management.
