About The Team

Our team oversees all aspects of eBay’s finance, analytics, and information technology functions – including controllership, procurement, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, audit, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. At eBay, we love data, so finance plays a critical role in establishing strategic focus, enabling growth, ensuring execution and driving efficiencies across the organization.

About The Role

The EU FP&A & Sited Finance Team at eBay based in Bern is currently seeking to hire a

Finance Analyst, EU FP&A (f/m/d)

• Leave cover for 6 months -
  

This person will report to the Head of EU FP&A & CFO Sited and will support with EU Financial Reporting and Analyses, consolidation of the EU region and translate the latest business trends for our EU Sited Markets into accurate forecasts for the eBay Sited entities.

Financial Reporting

• Responsible for recurring reports on key financials and business metrics performance and variance analyses against forecast and budget.
• Supporting consolidation of eBay’s EU markets
• Analyzing critical business trends and monitor impact of our Focus Categories
  

Financial Planning

• Supporting with the monthly forecasting processes for the Sited regions
• In charge of planning for regional headquarters’ expenses, including headcount units and costs, T&E and other G&A expenses.
  

Process Management

• Taking the lead on building and / or maintaining different finance processes within the region and for the eBay Corporate Finance team.
• Other ad-hoc projects as necessary
