Global Product Manager Industrial Valves (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Manage the product portfolio through its lifecycle, develop product volume and revenue forecasts short, and long-term with our global manufacturing and supply chain
  • Understanding and transferring global trends, market requirements, customer needs, and values as input for the product roadmap and conducting competitor analyses including identification of product gaps
  • Develop attractive business cases with customer-centricity and global reach
  • Defining the roadmap priorities with R&D and PA with long-term success in mind
  • Owning, monitoring, and delivering on the agreed product roadmap, ensuring timely and successful launches, and executing the go-to-market strategy
  • Keeping the global focus groups (e.g. sales, production, marketing, purchasing, and international sales support) informed on topics related to the product range and Process Automation.
  • Embedding sustainability and circularity principles in everyday activities as both the right thing to do and profitable growth
  • Supporting our customers with technical issues and becoming more environmentally sustainable and creating new market opportunities
  • Comprehensive application understanding of the product portfolio including identification of synergy potential (across departments and business units)
  • Provide best-in-class (digital) product material, sales enablement tools, training content, and product master data
  • Develop customer proximity (of the various customer groups) and establish lasting relationships and networks together with the business development team and sales companies across the globe

Your profile:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in (industrial) engineering with a focus on business economics or a comparable technical and economic field of study.
  • Pro-active nature – you like to take initiative and ownership
  • Good communication and planning skills
  • Attention to customers and stakeholders, result oriented, markets driven thinking, teamwork, systemic thinking, and innovation will complete your profile
  • You are a real team player contributing with both marketing competency and hands-on support when needed
  • Fluent English communication skills - German language is a plus
  • Willingness to travel worldwide up to 20% of the time
