In this newly created role, you will lead and develop the global OSM engineering organization with a "copy exact" vision. Bound out of the strong regional organizations a cooperative high-performance network with full location intercompatible processes, tools, and platforms. You will report to the Head of Global Specialized Solutions.

Head of Global OSM Engineering & QC Standardization (m/f/d)

Your tasks

  • Define, establish and execute the global Engineering Governance (e.g. audit and roll-out of global processes, tools, and software, costing factors including quoting, engineering procedures and workflows, or financial standards)
  • Further development of all quality assurance and quality control topics to fulfill customer expectations and mitigate GF risks in line with the risk management guidelines
  • Global roll-out and development of the QA/QC process to be audited
  • Set up local coaches organization and build a QA/QC library with documentation for requirements of specific global customers for fast implementation at any place
  • Ongoing review and further development of the organizational setup to drive the best operational execution
  • Ongoing training of the global OSM Engineering, Custom Product Design, and QA/QC team members to share best practices and drive the learning culture
  • Regular meetings to review KPIs (e.g. turnaround time, hit rate, forecast of utilization, or others)
  • Regular interactions with internal and external stakeholders

Your profile

  • A master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or similar) and at least 8 years of experience in leading global engineering designed for manufacturing and assembly teams/departments ideally in the fluid dynamics or piping industry
  • Excellent leadership and change management and communications skills to interact on all levels and in cross-cultural organization
  • Preferable experience in integrated design software and CAD assembly
  • Good English, any other language is welcome
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% (if needed up to 4 weeks onsite)
