Job content

  • Develop, manage and implement a regulatory compliance strategy for Paper&Board business across group functions and regions
  • Establish the Paper&Board regulatory affairs strategy as the trusted business partner for an integrated commercial organization
  • Engage, commit and train stakeholders in Paper&Board compliance matters
  • Maintain and strengthen effective collaboration with corporate functions, in particular with Sales and Marketing
  • Provide critical input and guidance in all regulatory and sustainability related matters for new product development projects in the Paper&Board segment, such as life cycle assessment, carbon footprint and product environmental footprint
  • Contribute pro-actively to the development of innovative solutions and to support new business ideas/strategies/products by providing insights and information on developments in the area of Paper&Board compliance.

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Natural Science, Paper engineering or Material Science degree
  • At least 5 years work experience in the conceptual development of technical products and knowledge of the markets
  • Proven experience in risk management, preferably related to regulatory affairs aspects
  • Very good knowledge of the European and non-European regulations related to the Paper&Board and chemical industry
  • Distinct strategic, innovative and analytical mode of action, structured way of working, distinct solution-oriented way of working and positive mind
  • High ability in joined-up thinking
  • Very good language skills in English; preferably also in German and French
