Your role

Have you successfully planned, organized and controlled test activities across Business and IT? Do you have the know-how for achieving the defined software quality goals and managing across teams? Do you want to be our Head of Quality, making sure our Enterprise Risk Management System meets the requirements?

We’re looking for a Head of Quality, ERMS to:

  • define the test strategy and plan, managing the teams to create detailed test cases
  • create a comprehensive framework for management reporting, monitoring and tracking of testing progress
  • gather stakeholder acceptance criteria and manage their involvement
  • estimate effort and plan resources accordingly
  • drive and coordinate the testing of software application changes
  • work closely with the vendor development team and internal IT testing team during all testing phases
  • oversee timely and accurate capture of test results and status
  • keep stakeholders informed of progress, escalating issues in a proactive and timely manner
  • structure and run regular status meetings
  • prepare, run and get sign off of business stakeholder testing
  • work effectively across globally distributed teams

Your team

You’ll be working in the large global M7 Risk Change Program based in Zurich. We analyze, build and deliver solutions for a large number of stakeholders across the bank’s divisions / group functions. As Head of Quality you’ll play a key part in the program to ensure a consistently high software quality is delivered to end users. Your expertise

  • a degree in engineering, business administration, banking and finance, economics or similar subject
  • at least 3 years of test management experience in a change environment within the financial industry, ideally relating to the area of Risk
  • proven ability to gather information and represent it to stakeholder groups in a project implementation capacity, or similar scenario with the ability to focus on details and quality
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to tailor style to your audience with excellent English skills
  • inquisitive, able to challenge effectively and manage conflicting stakeholder needs
  • very good knowledge of test methodologies and tools
  • client orientated and are able to build collaborative relationships
  • aware of project implementation approaches, combining the need to keep to deadlines whilst being mindful of the stakeholder community needs
  • a flexible, resilient team player with a positive attitude
  • good at analysing and implementing your problem solving skills (you know how to figure things out).
