Your Key Responsibilities

BRP seeks a highly motivated, analytical, and enthusiastic Financial Planning Analyst to join our rapidly growing International division, in our Lausanne, Switzerland headquarters.

Combining an understanding of finance, practical knowledge of financial statements and using data to make-and-drive decisions, this candidate will perform various financial planning and analysis processes to support key strategic decisions, drive BRP growth, and ensure financial objectives are achieved.

Reporting to the Finance Director, INTL division, the FP&A Analyst INTL will have the following roles & responsibilities:
  • Work cross-functionally with the broader BRP teams: finance, marketing, network development, volume planning & retail operations and PA&A to fully understand the business, its customers, and overall operations.
  • Support the development of new reports and data extracts, and provide input and business knowledge to those setting strategies for new technologies and data structures to achieve efficiencies and productivity in reporting and analysis.
  • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives in areas of reporting as well as business planning.
  • Perform modelling and analytics required to synthesize large sets of data and produce concise reports & analyses to monitor day-to-day operations and support management decision-making.
  • Aid in the reporting and financial performance management frameworks for the business and help define key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate overall business performance.
  • Effectively manage numerous projects at a given time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Partner with various functions to lead cost optimization projects, drive future long-term growth planning and maximize International EBITDA contribution.
  • Contribute to the annual financial planning cycle.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in data analysis & modelling, financial analysis and controlling.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or in highly analytical fields (Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) with business administration experience
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel is a must.
  • First-hand experience in data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView…), scripting languages (SQL, Python, VBA) is highly valued and experience with SAP is considered as a plus.
  • Curious, self-starter, creative thinking, work independently, deal with ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines.
  • An ability to innovate and rationalize both finance and operational processes.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical terms.
  • Strong ability to work with business leaders to deliver results, including the ability to persuade with data.
  • Excellent communication skills in English at all levels.
  • Fluency in French is desirable.
