Our Internship Program is open to students who want to gain practical experience in one of the various career fields at the heart of the financial services industry. Over the course of this in-depth, comprehensive program you make valuable contributions to the bank’s work, develop skills, expand your knowledge and grow in confidence. You participate in exclusive events, shadowing days, real-world business challenges and demanding tasks to extend your experience and create valuable networks in the bank and the wider sector. By the end of the program you gain a rich, varied insight into our work at Credit Suisse and the industry in general.

Duration:6 months
Academic requirements: Completed at least four semesters of a bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in a master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences


Your field of responsibility



We offer you an interesting role within the Business Management & ESG team of the Chief Credit Officer for Wealth Management. In this role you will gain practical experience in the dynamic banking industry in a growing business sector and get insights into different areas of Credit Suisse and our business processes, especially, in credit risk management. You will be given the opportunity to develop a broad network across different functions, to support the team in reporting and improving processes, to participate in ongoing projects (e.g. implementation of climate risk requirements). You will also support the team with various ad hoc tasks and take over ownership of small initiatives.

  • The financial sector and banking processes are your passion
  • The quality of your work meets high standards, and you take last-minute schedule changes in stride
  • Next to speaking fluent English and ideally German, you also have strong MS Office skills (esp. Excel and PowerPoint). Some programming and data science skills would be an asset
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
