  • drive solution architectures for cloud applications leveraging Big Data technology
  • work in collaboration with the Business, IT leads, security and cloud experts, and other SMEs

  • help implement client-focused cloud applications collaboratively with colleagues around the World

Your team

You will be joining the Advanced Analytics team based in Zürich and be part of a global team developing Big data and AI applications on the Cloud. We offer you a highly motivated and collaborative agile environment. Our goal is to enable the UBS for a digital and analytical future! You’ll participate in all phases of the development lifecycle and are responsible to design, document and support development of innovative applications. This senior role includes significant responsibilities, development possibilities and the chance to drive new solutions for us in a pivotal area.

Your expertise

  • master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems, related discipline or equivalent experience
  • at least 5 years of experience as a Big Data Architect and as a Data Warehouse Architect
  • at least 3 years of experience with Cloudera Data Platform
  • 2 years of experience with Azure Cloud would be a plus
  • experience with Agile SAFe
  • certification as an DataVault Expert is clearly preferred for this position
  • experience with industrialized Platform Setup (automation, e.g., through Ansible/Terraform)
  • azure Foundation Certifications (AZ-900/AI-900/DP-900) is of advantage for this position
  • azure Associate Certifications (DA-100/AI-102/DP-100/DP-203) is of advantage for this position
  • azure Expert Certifications (AZ-303/AZ-304) is of advantage for this position
  • fluent in English with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms
  • good abstraction and conceptual skills
  • the ability to translate business visions into illustrated technical design solutions
  • experience with Apache Airflow, Databricks and Azure Synapse would be a plus
