Junior Category Manager – Secondary Packaging (6-month maternity leave cover)In this role, you are in charge of Secondary Packaging Category. Your main responsibility is to run the category operational activities, being directly involved in cross functional projects and in day-to-day discussions with the Suppliers.How you will create a beautiful impact:
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationship with Marketing and Supply Chain Cross Functional Teams, to understand innovation and supply requirements, and being therefore able to support the business and its needs.
  • Own the tendering process - running supplier biddings, RFI/RFPs & evaluating results for a supplier decision from a TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) concept.
  • Negotiate short terms commercial terms and conditions with Suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier service levels to ensure compliance and uninterrupted availability.
  • Maintain and update ERP system in relation to procurement information.
  • Plan and initiate activities aiming to cost optimization and KPI improvement, according to priorities and targets.
  • Conduct procurement data & market analysis.
  • Participate in & ensure Procurement good practices: continuous optimization of processes, methods, performance measurements, etc.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted within the frame given by internal and external compliance guidelines.
What you need to have to be our next audacious and creative talent:
  • Master’s Degree (FH) in Procurement, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
  • Ideally 3 to 5 years’ experience in Procurement, preferably in an international environment and a similar category – experience in sourcing carton and paper.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, structured, and result-driven skills
  • Ability to lead multiple projects and work cross functionally
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and drive change across all levels of the organisation
  • Can-do and go-get attitude, entrepreneurial way of thinking, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment, leadership skills
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word), preferably SAP R/3 (MM module)
