Your field of responsibility


As part of the Media Monitoring team within Corporate Communication you will be responsible for managing the daily news flow. This is a great chance to gain insight into the world of corporate communications in a bank. With Credit Suisse being frequently in the media, a fast paced and interesting portfolio awaits you. Your daily tasks will include screening and sharing of news, reviewing daily briefings for Credit Suisse employees, creating media reports for senior management and presenting the relevant coverage on Credit Suisse and the financial industry in a morning call. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work on your own projects, e.g., Sentiment Analysis, compile tailor-made products for special media monitoring needs, manage our external provider and support us in the continuous development of the media monitoring services.


Your future colleagues



You will work in a small and young team that continues to provide and further develops high quality services to key stakeholders. The daily tasks include various collaborations with all teams within Corporate Communications. To perform your tasks, you will work independently, but also closely with colleagues around the world in media relations, social media and internal communications. Furthermore, you will work on a daily basis with our external service provider to bring our media monitoring services to the next level.

Your skills and experience


We are looking for someone with/who:

  • University or University of Applied Sciences degree or equivalent
  • Interest for news and the financial industry and a familiarity with the Swiss and global media landscape
  • First experience in journalism or corporate communications, ideally in the financial industry. Experience in media monitoring is a plus
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and be a team player at the same time
  • Determination to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Capability to work in the morning and flexibility in working hours is required
  • Mandatory proficiency in German and English, French and Italian are an advantage
