Join us as Lufthansa Groups’ junior financial controller for Channel Management (AD) & Offer Management (AS)! You will coordinate various airlines by collecting and compiling mainly financial data and personnel numbers. Budget, forecast, and actual figures with a focus on routine costs are your main tasks.

Tasks

As part of a small team of financial controllers, you will coordinate and administer the controlling tasks of the Lufthansa Group passenger airlines for the commercial divisions of AD and AS. Solving ad-hoc requests and support of the Senior Controller give insights to a broad area of further topics

Coordinate and instruct controlling tasks with colleagues in various locations and companies including Lufthansa, Austrian and Brussels Airlines
Extract, analyze and sort data from SWISS, mainly from accounting and staffing
Compile the cost budget for the commercial areas of AD and AS
Analyze and report actual spendings of the AD and AS departments in both SWISS and Lufthansa Group systems
Reply to ad-hoc requests of SWISS and Lufthansa Group
Support the Process Owner Controller in day-to-day tasks
Coordinate, approve, and/or update internal databases (Tracker, BACS …)
Point of contact for some SWISS Controlling tasks including team-intranet, outlook lists, and Sharepoint organization
Backup of the project controller of SWISS and AD/AS

Requirements
Commercial apprenticeship or higher degree in relevant area (e.g. Controlling, Accounting, Finance)
MS Office knowledge, especially Excel and Powerpoint
Experience in SAP is an asset
Interest in producing accurate and clean data, even when it is not easily available and straightforward
Ability to combine “the big picture” with the requirements of accounting principles
Open personality with the ability to approach colleagues from different business areas and levels
Flexibility and limited reachability is expected
Good spoken and written German and English skills
Flexibility to travel once every two months
