Network Security Engineer

You will be responsible to evaluate, design and test our global Network Security solutions in close collaboration with the Architecture team and other technical and non-technical stakeholders. As soon as a solution is ready you will hand it over to our Network Security Implementation team for the deployment into production. With your technical expertise you will guide and support the implementation and operation teams in case of complex issues. Throughout the live time of a solution you will identify, test, and implement enhancements and automation capabilities for data migrations, security best practices, environment builds, and operational management standards.

You are joining our Global Network Security Engineering team which is based in Poland, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. We offer exciting and challenging opportunities on a variety of large-scale projects around the globe in return for your knowledge in the following:

• You have at least 7 years of experience in the Network and Network Security field in which you have been doing Design Engineering work (RFI/RFP, PoC, etc.) for a global Enterprise for at least 2 years. Experience in an international financial institution will be considered as asset
• You have an excellent understanding of Network & Network Security principles like Defence-in-Depth and ZeroTrust
• You demonstrate a deep understanding of key Network Security technologies like Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Proxies, Remote Access/ZTNA, Network Access Control, etc.
• You know your way around Windows and Linux Systems and you are no stranger to scripting
• Any product certifications or industry certification to further undermine your technical expertise will be a plus
• You are a self-motivated, action and results-oriented person with excellent problem-solving-skills; able to push things forward, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• You possess the ability to engage and communicate with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Your excellent command of the English language makes it easy for you to collaborate with your international colleagues
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
