We’re looking for a Product Manager to:

  • actively participating in the strategy and roadmap covering the full product development lifecycle (including definition, upgrades, and eventual decommissioning)
  • drive new products and product changes iteratively and continuously together with cross-functional team members in the pod/chapter
  • play a pivotal role in agile ceremonies and ensure the product requirements are clear to designers and engineers
  • ensure the product is being tested together with clients to gain insights and ensure readiness to launch (e.g. end user testing)
  • support pod Objective and Key Results and provide relevant product measurements and metrics to meet overall business goals
  • ensure the quality and compliance of the product, from also a technical and non-functional requirement (i.e. production stability, performance, maintainability)

Your team

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in the Credit Provisions ECL team in Zurich focusing on the end-to-end reporting and analytics surrounding IFRS9/CECL. The team is holistically responsible for the oversight of the monthly profit and loss dynamics, understanding the underlying models’ technicalities on one side while being able to provide clear explanations to senior stakeholders about the figures to the other.
You will be part of an international team spanning across three continents and with a very diverse cultural background.

Your expertise

  • working in agile environments with strong understanding of agile delivery frameworks and product management
  • delivery of complex products to clients, ideally within the financial industry
  • setting and delivering on outcome-focused goals, such as using OKRs (Objectives and Key results) team player with an enthusiastic and proactive personality, a true agile mindset and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels
  • ability to keep all stakeholders engaged and to ensure that overall responsibilities and expectations are clearly understood
  • capability to quickly come up with alternative approaches should unexpected issues appear throughout the iteration
  • working knowledge of SQL (i.e. ability to query large databases) to extract, process and aggregate data. Further knowledge of additional software (e.g. SAS, R, Python) is appreciated but not mandatory
