Are you a senior data scientist with hands-on working style and enthusiasm to ensure that models are fit for purpose? Are you an inspiring project manager with outstanding stakeholder management skills?

We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist for Compliance Models Validation to:
  • work on strategic initiatives such as designing new validation tests to assess fitness for purpose of models, enhancing tooling for technical analysis and report writing and setting up knowledge sharing initiatives within the team
  • manage/coordinate model validation projects, ensure timely completion of activities and adherence to internal quality standards including accountability for the delivery of the final validation report
  • mentor and supervise team members on validation projects and provide effective feedback to ensure they are in line with regulatory requirements and internal standards
  • manage communication with senior project stakeholders, including discussions of main validation outcomes and agreement of follow-up actions
  • represent Model Risk Management & Control (MRMC) in audit and regulatory examinations
Description du profil

  • PhD or MSc degree in a quantitative field with broad expertise/experience in statistics, computer science, artificial intelligence (primarily natural language processing) and data analytics
  • extensive experience in project management and stakeholder management, ideally within the finance sector
  • hands-on experience in model development and/or model validation
  • a role model for other colleagues, who fosters our diverse and inclusive culture
  • able to manage/coordinate several projects in parallel
  • persistent in managing stakeholders and enforcing effective model governance
  • willing to accept responsibility and create your own brand within MRMC and company-wide
