In this role, you will lead and coordinate projects for containment of the product quality issue and process improvement. You will build a focused capability for quality improvement and support a cultural change towards passion for perfect quality.How you will create a beautiful impact:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Issue management
  • Analyze complex product quality issues (diverse sources: client complaints, repetitive issues in manufacturing involving external and / or global functions, etc.)
  • Lead and coordinate projects for containment of the issue and process improvement.
  • Communicate to stakeholders summarizing the background information, issues analysis, proposed response and resolution, potential impacts of action proposed/taken, risks ahead, etc.
  • Collaborate with Crisis Management Team when required
  • Serves as an in-house consultant for improvement opportunities, by identifying quality product risks and collaboratively, and design solutions to minimize the impact of such risks.
Continuous Improvement (CI) and Quality Culture
  • Define business processes, identify the appropriate set of tools for continuous process improvement and implement the CI strategy at La Prairie.
  • Build process improvement capabilities in the business via training and coaching
  • Coach teams to translate business practices in clear process requirements and help in the usage of quality tools in the organization, towards progressing on quality, efficiency, and productivity - zero quality loss mindset.
  • Challenge existing paradigms, encourage and promote internal and external benchmarking.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Projects and facilitate knowledge transfer
  • Establish a Quality “branding program” for promoting passion for perfect quality supporting LPG strategy
  • Define and execute a communication plan for quality culture and overall quality plan for continuous improvement (e.g., through regular meetings, training programs, boards, townhalls, etc.)
What you need to have to be our next audacious and creative talent:
  • University degree or equivalent in an applicable field (quality, engineering, or other relevant scientific discipline).
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in FMCG production, preferably cosmetic or luxury industry.
  • Proven success in driving and managing cultural change
  • Lean Six sigma certification, process Modelling skills and other related experience in improvement tools is valued.
  • Familiar with digitization solutions and low/ no-code automation.
  • Preferably experience in project environment for process improvement or business consulting
  • Excellent communication skills, as demonstrated in a multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to lead a cross functional team with an inspired, curious, and self-aware approach
  • Decisive decision maker with a pragmatic and creative approach to problem solving
  • Fluent English level and German (min B1) is a must.
