As part of our software and platform architecture team, you will use your Java expertise in different strategic projects in the payment application landscape. With your passion for technology you can help building software with zero downtime and constantly improve our high available infrastructure.

Your Duties And Responsibilities
  • Design, implement and operate state of the art Java applications with special focus on reliability, scalability and security
  • Constantly increase the level of automation in the build, test and deploy process
  • Working hands-on with our system engineers to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of our clustered infrastructure (Kafka, Consul, Elasticsearch, …)
  • Ensure that core non-functionals especially around security, scalability and reliability are met end-2-end
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues occurring in production ensuring constant improvement of the systems as a result.
Your profile
  • Bachelor or master degree (university or FH) in computer science
  • 5+ years experience in professional Java software development (Jakarta EE, Microprofile)
  • Quarkus knowledge a plus
  • Experience with distributed systems / cap theorem and enterprise wide application development and deployment
  • Experience with at least one of the following cluster systems: Consul, Kafka, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Elasticsearch
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • A passion for technology
