About This Opportunity

We are hiring a Restorative GP Commercial Senior Director who will be responsible for the commercial strategy and execution to digitize restorative Dentists. This will be established by Align Technology’s digital platform led by the iTero Intra Oral scanner & Exocad. The revenue potential in this area is such that it might become the leading channel at Align Technology.

In this role, you will…

Be responsible for creating, driving and execution of the winning strategy to digitize restorative Dentists with iTero and Exocad. The main outcome of this is to create a significant install base of restorative practices using the Align Digital Platform. In this role you will be reporting into the EMEA Vice President iTero as well as dotted line into the Global Restorative Vice President.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Create, own and update the commercial digital restorative strategy based on a continues cycle of:
• Liaising with global, regional and Exocad teams to obtain input and to provide key insights
• Through workshops and other means work with key external customers and industry KOLs to identify relevant information and insights
• Use your existing network outside of Align Technology to gain critical insights
• Based on this accumulated data create and document the strategy, tactics and execution
• Ensure all stakeholders are well informed
• Identify unmet needs among restorative Dentists
• and work with Marketing, Global product and Exocad teams to influence features and technology roadmap as well as
• working with the Marketing team to develop a clear value proposition for sustainable success
• Define and drive the strategy to win through Laboratories, Partnerships and other alliances.
• Acts as subject matter expert on the digital restorative front and be key driver in cooperation with Global teams as well as Exocad
• Define capability gaps and required organization structure and subsequently hire for this structure
• Lead the central commercial digital restorative team which is being set up in 2021
• Liaise with dotted line sales teams in the countries to inspire and execute on the strategy
• Full P&L ownership of the new GP restorative channel in EMEA. This P&L sits in parallel with the traditional iTero-Invisalign channel (i.e covering Invisalign providers)
  

In this role, you’ll need …

• A successful track-record of sales, working cross-functionally and effectively leading people.
• Minimum 10 years of commercial experience building a strong network related to restorative business and digitization
• Build and nurture business relationships with internal and external customers at executive levels
• Experience with leading indirect sales channel with an emphasis on strategic partnerships
• Strong vision & purpose management to inspire and motivate
• Effective relationship management, creating strong morale and fostering open dialogue;
• Customer Focus, dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers.
• Strong strategic planning and project management skills at the regional and national level.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Excellent presentations and communications
• Fluency in English
• Willing to travel across EMEA for up to 50%
