ABOUT THE POSITION

This position is a Fixed Term contract covering a Maternity leave for 10 months (December 2021 to October 2022).

As a Web Merchandiser, your role is responsible to implement the seasonal collections for both Columbia & SOREL brands, and optimize merchandising of the collections in order to maximize conversion, sales and profitability of the European online business (20 websites across 10 countries)

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Lead seasonal update and implementation of all products (product copies, product pages attributes, technologies, product & lifestyle pictures, technical information, category assignment…).
  • Manage the Lifestyle / In studio / Product Pictures need per season and coordinate the Photo Shooting with the US team to cover all the EU picture needs.
  • Manage day to day update of products and category pages.
  • Leverage Salesforce Commerce Cloud capabilities over all aspects of site merchandising and optimization to achieve target KPIs.
  • Analyze sales, returns and site analytics reports to identify opportunities on a weekly/monthly basis to improve user experience, achieve sales objectives and increase conversion.
  • Identify merchandising opportunities to drive revenue.
  • Plan, test and refine product listings, site search filtering and categorization tactics that facilitate efficient search, prioritization of key concepts, and reinforce a positive brand experience.
  • Build and nurture relationships with Buying, Digital/Brand Marketing, Copywriting, Content, Product Merchandising, Consumer care service, to get all needed information to ensure successful product and site experience.
  • Build and leverage relationships with US teams to share practices and common processes, to request technical support, and to contribute to the implementation of new functionalities of the website.
  • Work closely with the Content team by following marketing initiatives, to create engaging and relevant landing page / email experiences (providing the right products to push, by creating the right category pages)
  • Manage AB tests to optimize user experience and conversion rate.
  • Benchmark other web sites to propose improvement and best practices.

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising or Marketing
  • 3-5 years of experience in international website merchandising or ecommerce background (mandatory)
  • Experience working with FMCG such as: fashion, consumer goods and sportswear experience (apparel, accessories, and footwear) would be preferred.
  • Strong interest for outdoor sports like Hiking, Skiing, trail running etc.. and a passion for the Columbia brands.
  • Oral and written fluency in French and English is mandatory. Another EU language is a plus
  • Experience with SFCC or other Ecommerce Platform (Magento, etc)
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and web tools
  • Graphic design skills would be a plus (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics would be a plus
