Position Title: Wella Professionals Color Marketing Manager
Location: Geneve
Reports to: Marketing Director

THE ROLE
Lead 5 years brand innovation masterplan and activities for Wella Professionals Color to sustain brand growth
Bring to life brand innovations from project brief, financials, packaging design, to 360 activation and markets deployment
Lead multifunctional team
Own the brand fundamentals and visual identity
Lead brand partnerships
Manage global brand budget with accuracy
Coach junior members of the Marketing team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand IMP/AMP masterplan
Identify right ongoing support model to sustain brand growth
Work hand in hand with commercial functions to oversee all activities and ensure brand delivers on targets
Align IMP/AMP with company management, supporting its deployment to critical channels and top markets twice a year

Remain aware of latest sustainable innovations in markets
Quantify investment needed and SOP to expect from every activity

Brand innovations
Lead toolbox development from strategy (360 assets across touchpoints) to execution of assets and deployment to markets
Lead product and service/ trends commercial innovations through internal alignment processes
Become expert of salon top consumers and stylists targets to derive strong insights and meaningful product and services ideas,
Lead the multi-functional global design team including R&D, CMI, Trade Marketing, Education, Finance and Product Supply to deliver the best consumer and stylist proposition to life in due time, including brief new product and service innovations
Brief new service innovations to Education / external partners
Work with agencies to work on packaging designs
Work with agencies to develop toolbox and support new product launches, and deploy to markets

Brand fundamentals
Manage all brand partnerships and ensure excellent relationships with them, collaborating with external agencies (Pack Design, Communication, Digital, Media) to coordinate and synchronize the plan on future innovation and commercial activations
Be the owner and guardian of the brand equity, visual identity, tone of voice, ensuring holistic design across all touch points and communication campaigns, ensure fit of individual brand positioning into overall brand architecture
Develop communication strategy and holistic toolboxes for salon, stores and all other touch points part of the Professional eco-system (consultation, digital, education seminars on-line and off-line etc)
Ensure all brand assets are correctly organized (assets to markets, products GCAPs) and safely guarded
Track brand visual rights

Brand budget
Manage brands yearly costs, optimize spend where possible maximizing working media vs non working media
Track every brand spend and ensure suppliers are paid in time
Connect with finance teams to give Quarterly budget reports
Pitch for extra budget needs to top management in a timely manner
Recommend brand budget split for following fiscal year

QUALIFICATIONS
5-7 years including global / regional marketing experience in both design AND delivery
Experience in the Color industry
Strong track record of strategic view, ability to energize team and execute strategy
Strong track record of autonomous problem-solving with minimal guidance/ lead team involvement
Passionate about corporate, brand values and beauty trends
Creative mindset, and always up to date on the latest trends in sustainable marketing
Ownership, accountability, autonomy and evidence of agility (Mental, People, Change, Results, Self-Awareness)
Very organized and able to lead multifunctional team, manage all stakeholders and timings in parallel
Data driven and focus on excellent execution, innovative and creative thinker
Comfortable working with tight deadlines in a complex organization, with various internal partners & external agency partners
Master degree in Marketing, Business management or Economics is a plus
Experience in the salon industry is a plus
Experience in local marketing is a plus
English mandatory any other language is a plus
