Services is among the top 3 priorities for HP’s computing business with lots of focus, development and growth. We hire a Category & Business Development Manager for Switzerland.

Transformation at Customer as well as on Supplier side drives an increased importance of Services within HP:

Shift towards cloud, Increased cost and complexity, Demand for aaS models, Security concerns,

Desire for growth, predictable revenues and increased lifetime value of installed base and differentiation

The Key Role of Computing Services is to
  • Acquire and retain customers
  • Deliver improved user experiences
  • Reduce cost and complexity for customers IT departments
  • Drive annuity business and improved profitability for HP and our Business Partners
HP’s Services offering is structured around 3 key pillars:

Computing Services is offered modularly making it easy to select and consume. It is powered by technology like TechPulse and designed for enhanced user experience. With Services we maximize the lifetime value HP provides to the customer.

Services Growth Strategies
  • Reinvent Core – transactional lifecycle services
  • Accelerate Growth areas like contractual HW and Service models
  • Incubate new Services like Security, Manageability and Collaboration
Responsibilities & Scope
  • Manage Computing Service business for defined countries: 4P & Business development
  • Services 4P: Service Offering, Pricing, Promotion & Place
  • Achieve key performance indicators Orders, Revenue, GPM, aRate, pRate, TCV and Funnel
  • Work closely aligned and integrated with local computing hardware Category team
  • Sales enablement and training
  • Structurally own and develop a selection of Sales Initiatives working with Product Management CoE and ACM colleagues. Evangelize, enable, support and drive Service Sales Specialists, Sales Generalists and PS Category with these initiatives to maximize Service Sales
  • Support Partner and customer events
  • Communicate and agree on Sales goals, explain strategy to achieve them and follow up on execution
  • Support CE PS Services game planning and initiative tracking
  • Execute key initiatives and drive them to results with Sales Generalists, Specialists, Delivery and PS Category
  • Drive Consumer Services initiative and increase Consumer Services pRate
  • Drive Proactive Insights initiative and achieve planned order numbers
  • Drive Proactive Security & Sure Click Enterprise initiatives to achieve Security plan
  • Accelerate Adaptive Endpoint Management and Device Provisioning Business
  • Accelerate Managed Services Business
  • Push Active Care to achieve Active Care attach rates
  • Drive hard bundle approach as base service to every customer
  • Directly engage with Partners and Customers aligned with sales teams to support and drive them towards incremental Services business for HP
Experience & Education
  • 5-7 years in Information Technology Services business and/or Product Category / Marketing role
  • Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience after degree
  • Degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, management information systems, Business Administration or equivalent experience
