Global Process Owner – Order to Cash (O2C)

The primary role of the O2C Global Process Owner is to oversee the end-to-end activities across ABB. Drive overall governance of the process, design and implement related internal controls, lead the global process team and steer the P2P finance service team. This includes team management, policy setting, compliance, performance, continuous improvement as well as change management and strategy.

Your responsibilities

• Own design for the end-to-end process and approve any deviations from standard for Core / Common elements
• Design and implement internal controls for process
• Lead and govern change control including evaluation and approval of initiatives/additions/amendments proposed
• Manage and monitor compliance with policy and oversee process performance
• Influence execution of non-core activity within managed process
• Serve as escalation point and support for issue resolution for respective process
• Translates strategic direction from GBPO into clear policies and process standards
• Governs process to ensure adherence to process documentation rules and SOP updates
• Defines and manages KPIs specific to the process, and governing performance metrics
• Lead benchmark analysis and drive improvement projects that contribute to the strategic vision of the company
• Drives the process improvement roadmap and CI agenda, translating strategic direction from GBPO into priorities and initiatives

Your background

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain & Operations
• 10+ years proven experience in Business / Finance process role
• System understanding, deep process knowledge in O2C – know what “good looks like”
• Analytical mindset, Process measurement, modeling and governance
• Shared Services, Internal Controls and/or BPO experience a plus
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving global environment
• Ability to work well with cross functional workstream teams
• Good analytical skills and adept at working with complex global business models
• Continuous improvement experience desired
