Global Product Marketing Manager, Digital

Working with Process Automation, you will define, plan and ensure implementation of product marketing strategies for the digital business to meet business objectives. Your responsibilities

  • Support digital strategy on market dynamics, disruption and emerging technologies and the impact on business model, products and services
  • Lead the launch excellence program and standardization for full digital portfolio through the end to end gate model
  • Identifies and Implements marketing strategy including pricing for the digital portfolio and responsible for competitor analysis & market research
  • Drives product positioning and product features to spotlight and empowers the sales team with clear value propositions
  • Developing user personas, mapping out each step of the customer journey, and giving demos or presentations to potential customers and translating technical functionality into marketing messages that resonate with the target audience
  • Owner of sales collateral to clearly articulate benefits of product features via customer facing messaging
  • Together with the portfolio manager, leads and defines product demos & presentations
  • Owns the go to market strategy and together with marcom, plans marketing campaigns, events, external interviews, industry awards/assessment preparation
  • Supports the go to market teams such as sales, support, customer success and account management
  • Drive digital talent and culture, be an advisor on digital transformation both internally and externally
  • Leads sales enablement programs together with consulting teams to deliver product training for increased portfolio adoption internally

Your background

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Engineering or related technical field and minimum 15 years experience in the OT / software industry with focus on digitalization and the Internet of Things, and deep understanding of relevant technologies and trends
  • Masters Degree in Business Administration or technical field would be an advantage
  • Understanding and implementation of product marketing processes, product pricing, NPD gate process and incorporating VOCs into the agile requirements process
  • Strong background in product launches and KPI tracking post launch, go to market strategies, branding, competitive analysis and market research
  • Ability to develop and lead sales enablement programs jointly with consulting team for internal sales teams and external partners
  • Proven track record in customer focus, exposure to customer top management, product management driving results and turning opportunities into sales successes
  • Proven experience in driving digital solutions marketing for complex global organizations, ideally in a B2B environment (Process, Energy, software, technology, automation)
  • Deep Experience in the industrial software environment; Division specific industry exposure (industrial automation/advanced software) preferred experience and background in either one or more of the Division industrial domains of Mining, Pulp & Paper, Metals, Food & Beverage
  • Strong knowledge of solutions covering operational excellence, process performance including simulation, asset performance management, safety & sustainability, supply chain management and cyber security
  • Excellent networking skills matured in a highly international organization, “leading by influence”
  • Change management experience is a strong plus
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Availability to travel internationally as required
