This leadership role represents a unique opportunity for somebody, who enjoys managing technological as well as commercial aspects and who has strong strategic skills, without shying away from more hands-on tasks. The role manages five direct reports and is to be based at our Offices in Olten, Switzerland.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensuring best-in-class Corporate Independent Oversight for the Gösgen Nuclear Power Plant (KKG)
• Owning all KKG innovation and optimization initiatives, as well as the strategic planning for its long-term operations
• Short and long-term economic analysis in close cooperation with the Finance Business Partner
• Efficient and goal-oriented management of other nuclear participations
• Exploring and creating synergies with other Swiss NPPs, participating in industry governing bodies and working groups (e.g. swissnuclear)
• Team management and development
  
  

Your profile

• University Degree (Engineering, Natural Sciences, etc.)
• Several years of relevant experience, ideally in an asset management function in the energy sector or similar (nuclear industry preferred)
• Strong passion for the energy sector, ability and interest to look beyond and understand economical and political contexts
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent influencing skills, ability to communicate efficiently with internal and external stakeholders on all levels and all functions
• Fluent English and German required, knowledge of French a plus
