Your field of responsibility

We are currently establishing a centralized Governance function under the Group Chief Operating Office (COO), responsible for identifying opportunities for simplification of governance at Credit Suisse (CS), introducing a robust bankwide Governance Framework with consistent minimum standards, ensuring effectiveness of Governance committees through ongoing monitoring activities and facilitating ongoing sustainability. Join us as a member of the Implementation and Delivery Management team responsible for implementing the bankwide Governance Framework and managing Governance remediation & change initiatives to driving a more effective and less complex governance within CS.

As a delivery manager, you will be responsible for
  • Supporting development of strategy, planning, and effective execution of regulatory remediation, including detailed tracking of delivery and issue resolution across stakeholders
  • Managing execution of the Governance theme roadmap as part of the Strategic Regulatory Remediation (SRR) program, including maintaining detailed milestones, tracking risks and issues, and preparing status reports to ensure timely delivery of commitments
  • Planning and executing the harmonization and rationalization of bankwide Governance Committees
  • Ensuring effective linkage and consistency in governance-related topics and considerations across key bankwide programs (e.g., Legal Entity Program (LEP), Cost Transformation, Group Strategy) via committee representation, identifying interdependencies, tracking status of delivery, and escalation of risks and issues
  • Disseminating lessons learned from program deliveries and leveraging feedback to help drive bankwide Governance enhancements
  • Demonstrating effective communication while working collaboratively with COO / Governance stakeholders across the Firm, including representatives from the Chairman’s Office as well as all Legal Entities, Business, Divisions, and Corporate Functions (e.g., CRO, CTOO, CFO, CCO, GC, GCOO)

Your skills and experience

We are looking for a candidate who possess
  • Established track record in project management, with exposure to regulatory remediation and Governance change programs
  • Proven experience in leading workshops to design new processes or gather business requirements, ensuring that related outcomes are documented and actioned appropriately
  • Experience managing interdependencies across programs/commitments, with ability to read across to identify, simplify, and align actions
  • Ability to effectively translate concepts into pragmatic solutions for implementation
  • Demeanor to challenge, influence and drive progress while working with large, varied groups of stakeholders with differing priorities
  • Effective communicator, with experience preparing materials for internal and external stakeholders and ability to explain complex topics to a diverse range of audiences
  • Highly motivated and partnering mind-set with a practical approach to problem solving, sense of urgency, attention to detail, and high standards
  • Knowledge of governance principles or experience in governance related roles preferred
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
