We are seeking an Intern for our Investigation Engineering department (m/f /d).
As Investigation Engineer you are responsible for the structured investigation of claimed products.
Your Responsibilities In Detail Are
  • You analyze the available documentation (drawings, WI, specification, IFU, production order, certificates, risk evaluations, etc.) and returned product to base your findings on documented evidences
  • When necessary, you establish experiment protocols and conduct tests
  • You document (in English) your observations, data analysis and findings in a report and trigger the deviation process when necessary
  • You work closely with other departments (e.g. Quality, Technical Support, Production, Global Account Management, R&D, marketing, logistics), attend meetings and present the outcome of your investigation
  • You provide your technical expertise to CAPA or change owners
  • You provide suggestions to improve the investigation process
  • You closely collaborate with the Investigation Engineer and act as his substitute in case of his absence
Your Qualifications
  • Technical background (BSc/MSc student or recently graduated) in relevant field: electronics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, material engineering, packaging engineering, biomedical engineering or equivalent
  • Probably you have already working experience in medical device engineering, product development or design engineering in medical device or pharmaceutical industry or other highly regulated environments
  • Experience in research is a plus
  • Very good written English is a must. Good spoken English and German complete your profile.
  • Basics on the medical device regulation is a plus.
  • You have a distinctive passion for technical matters.
  • You are an analytical thinker and your work is structured and target oriented with a high quality awareness.
  • You like to work independently but also have the interpersonal skills to work in interdisciplinary teams.
