Our Internship Program is open to students who want to gain practical experience in one of the various career fields at the heart of the financial services industry. Over the course of this in-depth, comprehensive program you make valuable contributions to the bank’s work, develop skills, expand your knowledge and grow in confidence. You participate in exclusive events, shadowing days, real-world business challenges and demanding tasks to extend your experience and create valuable networks in the bank and the wider sector. By the end of the program you gain a rich, varied insight into our work at Credit Suisse and the industry in general.

Start date: 01.10.2022 or later

Duration: 4-6 months

Academic requirements: Completed at least four semesters of a bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in a master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences

Your field of responsibility

You help analyzing the Swiss real estate markets, obtaining and evaluating data and dealing with the latest trends and developments. The focus is either on entire real estate market segments or on individual real estate properties and projects, where you will learn how to extract insights from different databases. You build up a network of contacts and information sources that helps you to obtain the necessary inputs. You use the insights gained to produce research reports, presentations and audiovisual content, which you present to our clients and to internal bank departments we closely work with (Risk Management, Asset Management, Credit Lending).

Your future colleagues

You are part of a team of 3 real estate economists and 2 data scientists embedded in a department, where macroeconomic and financial market analysis is based. You will support an experienced team that will give you insights into the drivers, trends and challenges of Swiss real estate. Be prepared to take over responsibility from the first day of your work. Your Qualifications And Skills

Show us what you offer in this key role within the Swiss real estate economics department. Demonstrate how your skills, experience and attributes match the required responsibilities and opportunities of this position. You have:
  • A strong academic record and a keen interest in real estate and financial markets
  • Good knowledge of handling data, a desire to acquire relevant skills with queries and processing tools (e.g. Excel, R, Phyton)
  • Good analytical skills and a quick grasp of the bigger picture
  • Fluent German and a solid working knowledge of English
  • A highly motivated team player with a flexible can-do attitude
  • Independent way of working paired with a high level of drive to venture into new and exciting fields
  • Ability to cope with high quality standards, responsibility and attention to detail
  • A constant desire to learn and improve
