IS Senior Data Analyst

Working with GBS, your primary role of the IS Data Analyst is to provide high quality data analytics services, determining correlations and root causes where the performance levels of configuration items are negatively impacting consumer experience and productivity. In addition, the IS Data Analyst will work across functions/domains to support resolution and continuous improvement. This role reports to IS Consumer Experience Analytics Manager.

Your responsibilities

• Investigates corporate data requirements, and applies data analysis, design, modelling, and quality assurance techniques, to establish, modify or maintain meta data models, asset catalogue, and their associated components.
• Conducts advanced modelling activities for significant change programs and across multiple business functions.
• Designs targets reports and dashboards that will provide insight and enable sound business decision-making.
• Is responsible for developing presentations and presenting clear/understandable analytics insights to relevant departmental heads, management, and stakeholders.
• Plans own modelling activities, selecting appropriate techniques and the correct level of detail for meeting assigned objectives.
• Takes action to ensure targets are met within established safety and quality procedures, corrects malfunctions, calling on other experienced colleagues and external resources to make sure services are delivered in a proactive way.

Your background

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computational or Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related areas
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Above 5 years of practical experience in delivering data science/ML products
• Good understanding of how data science/ML aligns closely with business priorities and values
• Hands on experience with analyzing and modeling data, ML concepts, frameworks (Pytorch, Tensorflow), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), programming languages such as Python/R and SQL
