Senior IS Functional Analyst

As Senior SAP Functional Analyst under Sales and Marketing - Vistex, you will represent the SAP and connected solutions and their implementation/delivery with Vistex modules and OTC areas. This role is responsible for contributing technical and business process/data expertise to support ongoing operations and/or develop new software. Has deep understanding of the current procedures and systems currently in place; researches emerging technologies for new solutions to meet business need and understand the cost and benefits justification to present to managers You will be responsible for scoping, designing, configuring, and delivering SAP Vistex/OTC solutions to support business processes. You will lead/mentor matrix teams with focus on operational execution; long/medium-term ITO/OTC strategic/tactical responsibility.

Your responsibilities

• Acting as Subject Matter Expert in relevant area of responsibility of Vistex/OTC, contributing technical and business process/data expertise to either support ongoing operations or project new software
• Deep and hands on knowledge in all areas of Vistex/OTC domain.
• Analyzing the existing systems and highlight areas of improvement
• Strong experience in translating business requirements into technical IS capabilities and solutions
• Integrating multiple systems and reconcile needs of different teams
• Building, designing, examining, and implementing well organized and structured IT applications to meet business needs.
• Collaborating with IS Service Managers and Business Process
• Specialist to estimate the effort for IS solution/services development, change requests and releases.
• Understanding the related business processes in detail and applies this knowledge to shape and align IS solution/services building and delivery activities
• Reporting progress to IS Service Owner and manages Business expectation
• Leading configuration sessions with process SMEs, demoing new or changed configured process scenarios in SAP, aligned to Global processes.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and turn the business requirement more towards effective solution architecture.
• Continuously balancing between taking a holistic view (by carefully considering business priorities as well as impacts, integration and pre-requisites of other domains) and a domain specific view (meeting the domain specific business needs).

Your background

• Master’s Degree/Certification in information management, computer systems, business engineering with 5+ years relevant work experience or bachelor’s with relevant work experience of 10+ years of ERP implementations.
• 7+ years of progressive Vistex experience is must and SAP SD experience is required, with a minimum of 3 full lifecycle implementation.
• Extensive experience in configuring order management, pricing, availability checking, partner determination, output determination, copy control and contracts. Familiar with BAPIs, IDOCs and integration to PI.
• Solid understanding of Order to Cash (OTC) and Procure-To-Pay (PTP) processes, SD/MM pricing configuration/routines, and FICO integration.
• Sufficient knowledge of ABAP programming is preferred.
• Experience in SAP SD configuration; SAP Vistex Configuration, knowledge of ABAP preferred including familiarity with EDI/IDOCs, and integration with PI; recent, relevant, hands-on experience is preferred
• Exposure of Knowledge of programming and design techniques, including structured and object-oriented programming including BADIs/User Exits etc.
• Working knowledge in S/4 HANA and Fiori would be good
